Noah and the Whale

Appeared at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2010

Formed in 2006, Noah and the Whale quickly gained a foothold on the London music scene being variously described as anti-folk, nu-folk and folk-pop.  One thing is sure though, they captured the public’s imagination as the band’s debut album, the critically acclaimed, ‘Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down’ was an instant hit charting top 5 and being certified Gold within just four months.
