Disabled customers are welcome at the Isle of Wight Festival and our staff will be on hand to assist you during the weekend. Please be aware that the Festival is on a green field site and some areas will be hard to negotiate particularly in poor weather conditions.

Before booking, you need to decide whether or not you want to camp and whether you are coming to the Festival for the day or the whole weekend.

Please then call the Ticketmaster Special Access number 0800 988 4440 to book your ticket.

You cannot book a Disabled Access ticket online. Full details of the various options available to you are listed below.

Once you have booked your ticket, you will need to complete our booking form, which you can download here and submit to us at IOWDisabled@solo.uk.com. Please only tick the boxes that reflect what you have booked through Ticketmaster. The viewing platform disabled campsite and parking at Gate A6 are sold out and we are unable to accommodate additional customers, but customers can book a special access ticket and apply for a free carer ticket and non-campers will be able access the Festival via Gate A6.

There is a designated camping field with its own car park, special access loos and showers. This is situated near to the main entertainment fields. Although the site is flat and generally easy to get around, please be aware that the ground conditions may cause problems in certain areas. The campsite is accessed at Gate A4 (if you are driving to the Festival) If you are not driving to the Festival please ask for directions when you arrive at the main campsite entrance. There is a limited amount of space available for campervans and you must apply and pay for a campervan permit, please request this on your form that you send in with proof of disability. Please do not purchase the campervan permit through the Ticketmaster website if you wish to camp in disabled camping. Please do not turn up on spec in a campervan without a permit as we will not be able to accommodate you.

If you are disabled and want to camp in the Main Campsite, you can still apply for a carer ticket and to use the disabled loos. Please call the Ticketmaster Special Access number 0800 988 4440 to make your booking.

There is a shuttle bus service that will take you to and from the Campsite to the Main Arena.

There is a viewing platform for Disabled customers located next to the Main Stage. Please be aware that this is the only viewing platform on the Festival site, the Big Top does not have a viewing platform. You can apply for a space on the viewing platform, whether you are a Camper or a Non Camper or a Day Ticket customer. This entitles you and a carer (if you have one) access to the viewing platform from Friday to Sunday or on the day you have purchased the ticket for. Please do not apply for the platform unless you are a wheelchair user or have difficulty standing, as there are limited spaces and these customers will be prioritised.

If you are coming to the Festival as a Non Camper, you can park your car in the main Festival car parks. You can buy your car parking ticket on the day, but we recommend that you book it in advance when buying your Festival ticket. Please be aware that the car parks are located a fair distance from the main entertainment fields.

We offer a limited number of parking spaces in a car park behind the Main Stage for Blue Badge holders. You will need to apply for one of these, when booking your Festival ticket. Please be aware that these are allocated on a first come first served basis.

Disabled customers are entitled to apply for one free carer ticket – Camping, Non Camping or Day Ticket holders. The carer must be at least 18 years as at 8 June 2017.
