It’s back! For the third year running, we’ll be hosting our annual Dragon Boat Race

On Thursday 27th April, both national and local companies will compete on the River Medina to raise money for the incredibly worthy cause. Last year, over £64,000 was raised for Stand Up To Cancer, so let’s get rowing and top that for 2017.

In addition to all the fun on the water, the river banks will be lined with entertainment and food to keep you topped up and busy between each race - what more could you want?!

Graham White, the director of Stand Up To Cancer said "amazing progress against cancer" has been made in the last few decades, but "we absolutely can’t afford to stand still."

"This year we hope to raise even more money to fund Stand Up To Cancer’s work to bring kinder and better treatments to patients faster so that we can save more lives, more quickly."

It’s the perfect way to mark the countdown to the festival and rally together for Stand Up To Cancer and we couldn’t be more excited to do it all over again - see you there!

The annual Dragon Boat Race will take place on Thursday 27th April at Island Harbour.
