Playing: This Feeling w/ Pirate Studios + Scotts Stage

Birmingham band Sugarthief have more than 100 gigs under their charity shop belts, including festival appearances at Isle of Wight, YNOT, Truck, Kendall Calling and support slots with Swim Deep, The Night Cafe, The Twang and Willie J Healy… to name a few. Hooky basslines, jangly guitars and twirling organs collide with catchy choruses and moody heartfelt vocals to dish up their unique brand of indie pop-rock with a hint of 60s psych. Their debut EP “i before e” was launched in March 2019 to a huge audience at a sold out o2 Institute in Birmingham. The EP features recently released singles, ‘Good Luck, I Hope You Make It’ and ‘Modern Man’. With multiple plays on National radio (BBC 6 Music/Radio X), and a host of packed out shows up and down the country behind them - the rapid rise of unsigned Sugarthief shows no sign of slowing down any time soon. Front-man Jordi says. “Some people call our sound Indie rock or pop – I’m not sure about that… we just make the music and let others worry about pigeon holes”
