Sustainability

Climate change requires urgent action and we want to do all we can to help. We can’t ignore the damaging effects we are having on our environment and we would like to encourage our audience to act responsibly at the Festival by  thinking about the following:

There are many options you could take to help cut out the emissions when you travel….

  1. Take a Big Green Coack, there are 15 pick-up points around the country so it couldn’t be easier. Full details.
  2. Leave your car at home and travel by public transport- there are excellent transport links to the Isle of Wight and Festival shuttle buses to bring you straight to the Festival. Full travel info.
  3. Lift Share! Sign up and get priority parking when you arrive at the Festival. Full details.

Everything you bring you must take home with you! Think when you’re packing and only bring what is necessary. Invest in a good quality tent that you can re-use, don’t bring the cheapest tent and leave it on site, tents can’t be recycled. Please use the recycling points across the site for your rubbish.

Tap water is free and you can find a number of taps around the Festival site- please use them.

We're getting our 2019 recycling strategy into place and making sure we have the best possible ways to help save our environment so check back here soon for more details!
