We've once again teamed up with HOT VOX to support emerging talent and find three new artists to perform at the Festival. The competition, now in its third year, has seen applications from over five thousand budding musicians, all keen to be considered for one of three slots up for grabs at the iconic event!

With the Grand-Finals just around the corner, we can't wait to see which talented finalists will be awarded the opportunity to play at one of the UK's most loved festivals. With a exceptional line-up of talent including Biffy Clyro, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, George Ezra, Fat Boy Slim, Courteeners, Richard Ashcroft, Bastille, Madness, Lily Allen, Jess Glynne, Anne-Marie, IDLES and so many more incredible acts, this really is a golden opportunity to get a leg-up into the music industry!

John Giddings (Isle Of Wight Festival / Solo Agency) says "There are so many great unsigned artists out there so this is all about discovering them. It's fantastic to give new bands and new talent the chance to play at one of the biggest festivals of the summer, featuring legendary acts. It really is a once in a lifetime opportunity! Every band in the country should be putting themselves forward for this!"

HOT VOX are also pleased to announce Yellow Shark Record Studios and Scope Music Management are supporting the competition by providing 4 days studio recording with producer Monkey Harper as an additional prize for one of the lucky Grand-Finalists!

The whole ethos of the New Blood Competition is discovering deserving artists and giving them a platform, so we're incredibly pleased to have Yellow Shark, Scope and Monkey Harper lending their services and expertise to the cause!

The Grand-Finals of the Isle of Wight Festival New Blood Competition will be taking place at the legendary Dingwalls, Camden on May 24th, 25th and 26th. Join us to see which three deserving artists will win a coveted slot at the Festival, and who will be crowned our Wild Card winner and collaborate with Monkey Harper at Yellow Shark Recording Studios.
