Sky presents the Isle of Wight Festival 2026 will close with rock and indie icons The Cure as Sunday’s headliners.

The enigmatic band returned in 2024 with their first new album in sixteen years, ‘Songs of a Lost World’, which was met with critical acclaim. At the 68th Annual Grammy Awards on February 1st, 2026, The Cure won their first-ever Grammy Awards for the album 'Songs of a Lost World', securing Best Alternative Music Album. The single 'Alone' also won Best Alternative Music Performance, marking a major milestone for the band's 50-year career.

The band have produced classic pop songs such as ‘Boys Don’t Cry’, ‘A Forest’, ‘Just Like Heaven’, ‘Lullaby’ and ‘Friday I’m In Love’, and some of the most influential albums in modern music, including ‘Seventeen Seconds’, ‘Pornography’, ‘Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me’, ‘Disintegration’ and ‘Wish’.

The Main Stage will also see epic performances from Festival favourites The Kooks marking a nostalgic 20th anniversary of both their debut album 'Inside In/Inside Out' and their very first appearance on our stage. Bringing their stunning theatrical baroque-pop live show to the Island, Brit Award winning The Last Dinner Party will likely perform hits like the breakout anthem "Nothing Matters" and "The Feminine Urge" as well as newer tracks 'From the Pyre'.

Rounding off the Main Stage there will be sing-a-longs all afternoon starting with the timeless folk pop stylings of Suzanne Vega, local legends Level 42 will add some funky bass to the party with their 80s hits, and David Gray will then take us into millennial hit heaven with tracks like Babylon and This Year's Love.

Venturing around the site the Big Top will play host to brilliant shows from up and coming artists Voilà, Luvcat, The Twilight Sad and Rose Gray before shifting into legendary 90s hits with Shed Seven and Jo Whiley closing the whole weekend with her 90s Anthems DJ set.
