Headlining the Main Stage, and a major coup for the festival, on Friday night is bonafide musical icon, Sting as part of his “STING 3.0" World Tour. The "STING 3.0" Tour represents a new dynamic era showcasing selections from his vast catalogue through the urgent lens of a tight three-piece combo and inspired his new song, "I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart)"- mixed by 4-time Grammy Award-winning mix engineer Robert Orton - released September 5 on Cherrytree Music Company/Interscope Records. With virtuoso guitarist and longtime collaborator, Dominic Miller, and dynamic drummer Chris Maas (Mumford & Sons, Maggie Rogers), the band will perform the most electrifying hits and rarities from Sting’s timeless discography. Swapping the Fields Of Gold for the fields of Seaclose Park, Sting’s set will include some of the world’s most loved songs - ‘Roxanne’, ‘Message In A Bottle’, ‘Englishman In New York’ his latest song “I Wrote You Name (Upon My Heart) and more. Selling over 100 million records across his long-standing career, Sting is a multi-award winner, with accolades spanning The BRIT Awards, Golden Globes, Emmys, Ivor Novellos, GRAMMYs and more.

Stereophonics return in 2025 for the first time in 3 years and will headline the iconic Main Stage on Saturday night, the first of their major outdoor shows in 2025 to be announced. Over the decades, Stereophonics have remained a powerful force on the UK charts, releasing twelve studio albums, eight of which soared to number one. Festivalgoers can look forward to hearing many of their hits from across the band’s incredible catalogue that includes: ‘Dakota’, ‘Have A Nice Day’, ‘Maybe Tomorrow’, ‘C’est La Vie’, ‘A Thousand Trees’ to name just a few, along with songs from a new studio album landing 2025

As we prepare to say Bye Bye Bye to yet another incredible weekend of music at the Isle Of Wight Festival 2025, American pop icon Justin Timberlake will close the Main Stage on Sunday night. After achieving fame with boy band NSYNC, Justin has since gone on to become one of the greatest entertainers of his generation with an incredible solo career that boasts hit singles including ‘Sexy Back’, ‘Rock Your Body’, ‘Mirrors’ and many, many more. Known as one of best-selling recording artists of all time, selling over 117 million records worldwide, the award-winning singer, actor and songwriter will perform songs from across his phenomenal musical catalogue in what is destined to be an epic performance.

What a line-up we have in store already for the next edition of The Isle of Wight Festival. This first announcement spans global music icons to the freshest new talent and we have many more names to come so stay tuned. Everyone should get to the island over 19th - 22nd June 2025 for an unforgettable weekend of music. 

Also announced are Faithless, the English electronic sensations whose history stretches back 25 years. Having solidified a pivotal position in the world of British electronica, they will bring house, trip-hop and euphoric dance floor tunes to the Main Stage on Friday night to close it in style. Irish rockers The Script are also set to join the 2025 bill. With 10 billion streams, 12 million album sales, six UK Number 1 albums, as well as hit singles including ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’, ‘Hall of Fame’ and ‘Breakeven’ all under their belt, the band are destined to bring an unforgettable set to the festival.

Pop sensation, Jess Glynne, will also grace the stage over the weekend, seeing her perform chart-toppers like ‘Rather Be’ and ‘My Love’. Festival promoter, John Giddings, says “It’s great to welcome Jess back to the Island and to see her perform all of those hits we know and love – we will give her a real Isle of Wight welcome and I know it will be one of the highlights of the Weekend – we can't wait to have you, Jess!!”

Headlining the Big Top Stage on Thursday night will be roaring success singer, rapper and musician Example. Since achieving success in 2010 with his second studio album ‘Won’t Go Quietly’ Elliot Gleave, well-known as Example, has since achieved multiple UK number ones and sold out arena tours around the world. He will be sure to bring the dance bangers from his prestigious career to the Island, such as ‘Changed The Way You Kiss Me’, ‘Kickstarts’ and ‘We’ll Be Coming Back’.

Chart-topping dance-pop group Clean Bandit will also be joining the line up to headline the Big Top on Friday night. Formed in 2008, the group now have four number one singles and ten top 10 singles on the UK Singles Chart. The name behind sensations like ‘Rather Be’, ‘Rockabye’, ‘Symphony’ and ‘Solo’ to name a few, the band have collaborated with powerhouse talents such as Demi Lavato, Sean Paul, Zara Larsson, Craig David, Ellie Goulding and Marina and the Diamonds.

Big Top Saturday night headliners are the iconic Supergrass. With millions of records sold, 6 top ten albums and 10 top 20 singles, Supergrass are one of the most important bands to emerge from the 1990s and the BRIT, NME and Ivor Novello Award winning band have a catalogue of festival-ready hits including ‘Alright’ and ‘Pumping on Your Stereo’. The festival lands within the band’s ‘I Should Coco’ tour, seeing them celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut studio album.

Legendary English rock band, James, will be closing out the Big Top on Sunday night. Formed in 1982, the band to date have had four top 10 hits on the UK Singles Chart and nine top 10 placings on the UK Albums Chart throughout their career. With live performances being an integral part of the band’s make-up, they will bring famed singles such as ‘Sit Down’, ‘Laid’ and ‘She’s a Star’ to the stage on Sunday night.

Irish pop-rock band, The Corrs, will warm up the crowds at the main stage before Sting on Friday night. The family band, who have sold over 40 million albums worldwide since their 1995 debut album ‘Forgiven Not Forgotten’, have enjoyed a career that has seen platinum records, BRIT Awards, Grammy and Ivor Novello nominations. They will bring some of their biggest Celtic folk hits including ‘Breathless’ and ‘Runaway’ to the festival.

Paul Heaton will also perform over the festival weekend. Formerly the lead singer of The Housemartins and The Beautiful South, Paul has since gone on to have a widely successful solo career with The Guardian naming him as “one of our finest songwriters”. Paul’s set will also feature special guest singer Rianne Downey

Rock band Texas will also give a knock-out performance on the island. Formed in 1987 and still going strong to this day having just received critical acclaim for their recent tour, the Scottish group will perform classics from their accomplished career such as ‘Say What You Want’ and ‘I Don’t Want A Lover’.

Busted, renowned for their chart-topping hits like ‘Year 3000’, ‘Crashed The Wedding’ and ‘Air Hostess’, will perform on the festival’s Main Stage on Saturday. The band - Matt Willis, Charlie Simpson and James Bourne - have sold out arenas across the globe, sold over 5 millions records worldwide and won a multitude of awards within their 21 year career.

Pop sensation Olly Murs will bring good vibes to the island during his performance. Known for rising to fame from The X Factor, Olly has since gone on to have 5 UK Number One singles, sell out arena tours and supported Take That on their most recent arena and stadium tour. Australian singer-songwriter Dean Lewis has also been announced to play the festival. Quickly gaining traction in 2016 after the release of his debut single, he has since gone on to sell 5.7M albums and EPs worldwide, and achieved 11.4B streams to date. Dean will bring pop hits like ‘Waves’ and ‘Be Alright’ to centre stage.

Alison Moyet well-known for her bluesy tones and having previously been a part of electro-pop group Yazoo, will now play the Main Stage on Sunday. Alison brings a wealth of experience, having sold 23 million records worldwide. She has also achieved nine top 30 singles and six top 10 hits on the UK Singles Chart with singles such as ‘Love Resurrection’ and ‘All Cried Out’.

Created by The Music Project College in 2018, indie-rock band, The Lathums, will take to the Big Top stage at the 2025 festival. Their debut album ‘How Beautiful Life Can Be’ hit the number one spot on the UK albums chart back in 2021 and since then the band went onto support The Killers on tour in 2022. With their sound likened to The Smiths and Arctic Monkeys, they’re definitely a band to keep an eye on. Indie-pop band, who found fame in 2023 when their album ‘Anxiety Replacement Therapy’ claimed the number 1 spot on the UK charts, Lottery Winners, will also be performing on the isle. Since then they have gone on to support the likes of Noel Gallagher, Nickelback and Rick Astley on tours all in 2024. The band will be sure to give a spectacular performance.
