Need a moment of calm or a break from the noise and bustle of the festival? TheSensoryCalm Tent is your go-to space for sensory regulation and decompression. Hosted by trained EventWell Hosts, this space offers co-regulation, emotional support, and onsite mental health first aid. Inside you’ll find noise-cancelling headphones, fidgets, weighted blankets, sensory dens, and quiet activities like chess, dominoes, colouring, and puzzles. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed or just need a moment to pause and reset, this is your safe space to take a breath.
Navigating a busy festival can be a lot – and that’s where EventWell Buddies come in. You’ll find them at the Buddy Point located at the SensoryCalm Tent near the main arena, or walking throughout the festival ready to offer support, information, and a friendly face. All Buddies are trained in accessibility and neuroinclusion, and are there to help you find your way, manage overwhelm, or simply check in if you need a moment.
We also will have the return of the Kidzone sensory tent providing a moment of calm for kids a little further away from the Main Arena. More info to come.
